Scaling Ethereum Hackathon Winners
The Scaling Ethereum hackathon has just wrapped up!
Organized by ETHGlobal, this hackathon has incubated some of the most impressive projects we have ever seen.
In total, 29 projects were submitted across 4 verticals (Payments, Defi, NFTs, and Tooling). Here’s a sneak peek at the top ones:

We are extremely proud of all the ideas that came out in the last 2 weeks, and we will keep supporting these talented builders after the hackathon. Furthermore, the feedback received from developers is helping us to craft an ever-better Dev experience for future integrations.

RarX — Advanced NFT Marketplace — winner of Best xApp ($1000)
An advanced cross-chain NFT marketplace where you can generate NFT with an AI engine, and natively mint them crosschain. It includes real time notifications, subscriptions, and other impressive features.
ExplorerX — Great xApp Winner ($500)
ExplorerX is a tool for builders that simplifies deploying smart contracts on multiple layer2 blockchains, with Connext being used to pass messages between chains.
The comprehensive explorer section makes it easy to manage and keep track of all the contracts in one place.
Xchat — Great xApp Winner ($500)
X-Chat is dApp built on Connext that allows you to chat and send assets across EVM and ZK compatible chains, with a well crafted UI.
Followem — Great xApp Winner ($500)
A crosschain referral system to run advertising campaigns on the blockchain.
Project owners can easily set up a series of onchain incentives to generate a link or widget to bring in a new audience.
GhoPay — Great xApp Winner ($500)
GhoPay flips the idea of payments by allowing signed-up users to decide what tokens their Lens or ENS handles get paid in. This allows their peers to send them any token without worrying about converting it. Cross-chain payments are supported via Connext.
DAOasis — Great xApp Winner ($500)
DAOasis is a social platform that provides an intuitive interface for creating and managing multisigs, handling custom transactions, and conducting cross-chain interactions. The app is a standout solution for managing digital assets.
xEarn — Great xApp Winner ($500)
xEarn is a one-stop protocol for managing yield across multiple chains/rollups.
The key of xEarn is the Connext xCall which allows devs to asynchronously interact with contracts living on another chain/rollup. Vault managers integrate with multiple protocols such as Curve and Uniswap to improve the UX as much as possible, and Yearn to deposit in the desired Vaults.
Special Mentions: Creative solutions
Bridge Pass
Bridge Pass offers a unique cross-chain gift card solution, allowing users to send gift cards to yotheir ur loved ones across different blockchains. With Bridge Pass, you can easily purchase a gift card and let the recipient redeem it on their desired chain.
Bridge Pass leverages the ERC-721 NFT standard to create Soul Bound Tokens, facilitating seamless cross-chain asset transfers through Connext Smart Contracts.
Flowy
Flowy allows users to Stream NFTs across chains seamlessly in real-time and with just 1 click.
